This product line includes cost-effective, halogen-free industrial and electrical enclosures made of polystyrene (PS) for secure wiring connections and equipment protection. Depending on requirements, the enclosures are available as standard installation boxes with smooth walls, pre-punched holes, or grommets, as well as waterproof large enclosures for motor protection.

What protection rating do the junction boxes offer?
The enclosures meet protection classes IP65 through IP67 against water jets and dust as standard. Exceptions to this are the smaller reference models EP048, EP088, and EX088, which are rated IP54.

Standard opaque covers are made of impact-resistant polystyrene (PS) in RAL 7035. Transparent covers (available starting with size 171) are made of tinted, UV-resistant polycarbonate (PC).
